StyleCrush.com Loves...Carey Mulligan

The 60’s ladylike style has been a big trend this season, especially with the popularity of Mad Men. Celebs such as Carey Mulligan have clearly embraced this trend with pure elegance and poise that has even landed her on the front cover of US Vogue and ELLE magazine. Not to mention, she’s absolutely adorable! Peep some pictures of her at her fashion best.

Sheath Skirts and Dresses creates the 60's hourglass shape that fits Carey well.

Full Skirts and dresses was made popular by Louis Vuitton and Chanel's A/W 2010 collections that fall below the knee, while clinching the waist creating a more ladylike feel. Carey rocks this look almost all the time, but keeps the look modern with bold colouring and lace detail.

Dannii Does It Again

Another amazing entrance by Dannii Minogue on last week's X-Factor. The pint size judge wowed in this nude coloured gown taken from Austrailian designer Aurelio Costarella’s 2011 spring collection followed by gold Fendi heels. She tops off this look with her minimal use of accessories and jewellery, flowing with grace Dannii gets a thumbs up from me on the fashion front.

Party Season!

November is clearly the month for Designer and High Street collaborations. It was firstly announced that Lavin would release a collection of party dresses at H&M on 23rd and now Rocksanda Illincic has released their final collection of party dresses at Whistles today. A combination of embellishments and LBD's any item from this collection couldn't be more perfect for this season's festivities.

StyleCrush.com Loves…Dannii Minogue

Over the past weeks the media has had a habit of comparing Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue's looks on X-Factor. While their individual styles differ in many ways, I must say that I prefer Dannii's fashion over Ms Cole's. Her stylish bob and classy style of dress clearly works in her favour, here a a few pics of StyleCrush.com's fashion favourites...

Dannii dazzles in this simple but sexy fitted leopard print dress by Emilia Wickstead paired with black Christian Louboutin pumps.

This has been my favourite look from Dannii so far. This asymmetrical Grecian gown was designed by Carla Zampatti which she wore with a pair of nude Sergio Rossi heels, did wonders for her. She looked so graceful and elegant, the hair the earrings, it just works!

We've seen Dannii wear Dolce & Gabbana a few times on X-Factor but I love this playful floral dress is my favourite. It works well for her 5"2 height as she completes the look with satin Charlotte Olympia Paloma pumps.

I LOVE this look! The quiff she rocks with this sexy Marchesa dress looks awesome, she also sports a pair of peep toe Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

I will update you on all the X-Factor fashion in the coming weeks ;)

Autumn/Winter Florals

Florals was a such a heavy trend in Spring/Summer 2010 it could've easily become boring but stars, such as Rihanna, have been sporting this trend that has us feeling as though summer is still here.

Rihanna wears a Jean Paul Gautier dress at Barnes & Nobel bookstore in New York. While it looks like something you’d wear for tea at Grandma’s, she tops it of well with a nude pair of Christian Louboutin heels.

Here she sports a colourful playsuit with a Prada cammello ostrich bag.

Another fashion favourite of mine is Alannah Hill’s Autumn Winter Gothic floral collection. The Australian designer vamps up cutsie florals and makes it chic and daring, plus the wild floral background looks SICK!

My Life as an Intern

Today I was invited, along with the girls from ASOS, to two press days. It was my first time attending one, and I couldn't have had a better time. Starting with Swarovski's S/S 2011 collection of amazing crystals and have contributed designs to The Nutcracker. With prices ranging from £50 to £200 Swarovski is sure to be a fashion favourite next season.

I was also privileged to attend a press day at GUESS to have a look at their S/S 2011 collection. They've seemed to go for the 60's/70’s glam look judging from their range of cropped denim jackets and subtle jewellery pieces.

And check out this Swarovski crystal and GUESS freebies that I got!
