StyleCrush Loves...Topman Sibling

Topman are set to launch their new collaboration with SIBLING on Saturday 29th November for a broad range of knitwear in time for the festive season. Check out the images for an exclusive sneak peek at their collection...
The Slogan Crew
Famed for their slogan jumpers the collection wouldn’t be complete without a word or two, it arrives in the form of the black ‘Merry’ crew which is inspired by the fonts you see on Watlzers at fun fairs.

The Accessories
The accessories come in the form of the ‘football’ style scarf in block coloured stripes, featuring their skull design at each end. The beanie features their antler design on either side of the hat, in the same red and blue colourway of the rollneck.

‘It’s been such a privilege to have collaborated with Sibling on this Knitwear collection.  They are a team that I’ve wanted to work with for some time and a chance conversation in the Topman pub take over at London Collections:MEN provided us with the excuse. Their expertise and command of the “language of knits” has resulted in an amazing collection with a strong Id and that touch of irreverence associated with their brand.´ Gordon Richardson, Creative Director of Topman.

For their collaboration with TOPMAN they have put their twist on the classic Christmas jumper along with a selection of fun knitted accessories. The range consists of 10 pieces priced at £20 for the beanie, £40 for a scarf and £80 for the jumpers. Each piece has been designed with the personality that SIBLING is renowned for.

The SIBLING TOPMAN collaboration will be sold in the following stores:
Oxford Circus – London, General Store – Shoreditch, Arndale- Manchester, SELFRIDGES – London

boohoo.com Spring Summer 2014

I was privileged to attend boohoo.com's Spring/Summer 2014 press day on Tuesday, where I was able to have a sneak peek at their upcoming collection.

They're women's collection consisted of pastels, and lady-like samples with clear inspiration from Burberry Prorsum's Sprint Ready to Wear collection that debuted earlier this year.

Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne work the pastels trend on the Burberry Prorsum S/S rtw 2014 runway

I also spotted plenty of monochrome inspired pieces as seen in Chloé's Resort earlier this year

Whereas boohooMan has taken a brand new direction. They're samples included plenty of 90's grunge inspired pieces

Many of these items were designed by Shane Chin, an extremely talented menswear designer from Manchester.

Be sure to keep a lookout for boohoo.com's new collection with pricing ranging from £15-£20, available from January 2014

Style Crush's One to Watch…Jourdan Dunn

London born Jourdan Dunn has, since her debut in 2007, become one of the most sought after models in recent years.

Aside from her many accolades, Dunn made history having been the first black model to walk a Prada runway in over a decade.

While it is obvious she is well on her way to becoming a fashion icon, it is her ability to beat the odds against her that keeps her winning.

Jourdan was featured as the face of H&M's Spring 2013 collection

She was also selected to walk in last year's Olympic Closing Ceremony, paying homage to British designers, in this Jonathan Sanders gown.

Dunn admitted that she had faced racial discrimination in her career in Net-A-Porter's The Edit but has nonetheless forged on.

She was awarded as Model of the Year at the 2013 Harpers Bazaar Women of the Year Awards

Jourdan was also hand picked to feature in Vogue Italia by Anna Wintour's protégé Steven Meisel solely dedicated to black fashion models.
