Party Season!

November is clearly the month for Designer and High Street collaborations. It was firstly announced that Lavin would release a collection of party dresses at H&M on 23rd and now Rocksanda Illincic has released their final collection of party dresses at Whistles today. A combination of embellishments and LBD's any item from this collection couldn't be more perfect for this season's festivities.

StyleCrush.com Loves…Dannii Minogue

Over the past weeks the media has had a habit of comparing Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue's looks on X-Factor. While their individual styles differ in many ways, I must say that I prefer Dannii's fashion over Ms Cole's. Her stylish bob and classy style of dress clearly works in her favour, here a a few pics of StyleCrush.com's fashion favourites...

Dannii dazzles in this simple but sexy fitted leopard print dress by Emilia Wickstead paired with black Christian Louboutin pumps.

This has been my favourite look from Dannii so far. This asymmetrical Grecian gown was designed by Carla Zampatti which she wore with a pair of nude Sergio Rossi heels, did wonders for her. She looked so graceful and elegant, the hair the earrings, it just works!

We've seen Dannii wear Dolce & Gabbana a few times on X-Factor but I love this playful floral dress is my favourite. It works well for her 5"2 height as she completes the look with satin Charlotte Olympia Paloma pumps.

I LOVE this look! The quiff she rocks with this sexy Marchesa dress looks awesome, she also sports a pair of peep toe Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

I will update you on all the X-Factor fashion in the coming weeks ;)

Autumn/Winter Florals

Florals was a such a heavy trend in Spring/Summer 2010 it could've easily become boring but stars, such as Rihanna, have been sporting this trend that has us feeling as though summer is still here.

Rihanna wears a Jean Paul Gautier dress at Barnes & Nobel bookstore in New York. While it looks like something you’d wear for tea at Grandma’s, she tops it of well with a nude pair of Christian Louboutin heels.

Here she sports a colourful playsuit with a Prada cammello ostrich bag.

Another fashion favourite of mine is Alannah Hill’s Autumn Winter Gothic floral collection. The Australian designer vamps up cutsie florals and makes it chic and daring, plus the wild floral background looks SICK!

My Life as an Intern

Today I was invited, along with the girls from ASOS, to two press days. It was my first time attending one, and I couldn't have had a better time. Starting with Swarovski's S/S 2011 collection of amazing crystals and have contributed designs to The Nutcracker. With prices ranging from £50 to £200 Swarovski is sure to be a fashion favourite next season.

I was also privileged to attend a press day at GUESS to have a look at their S/S 2011 collection. They've seemed to go for the 60's/70’s glam look judging from their range of cropped denim jackets and subtle jewellery pieces.

And check out this Swarovski crystal and GUESS freebies that I got!

Cheap Monday S/S 2011

The Swedish label Cheap Monday has released their gorgeous Spring/Summer 2011 collection, and I am so excited. This upcoming collection affirms why Cheap Monday is known for their stylish yet affordable jeans as well as a few hareems here and there. Peep the pics of StyleCrush.com faves...
Not a fan of crop tops but they work so well with these gorgeous zip jeans, I'll make an exception :)

Lanvin Loves H&M

Top designer at Lanvin Alber Elbaz, has put together this season's must-have party dresses at an affordable price. The collection will be in stores from 23rd November, so we have plenty of time to put together our New Years Eve gear. Here are StyleCrush.com's favourites from the official lookbook...

My Life as an Intern

The fashion industry is far from easy to get into. At present I've worked a total of 494 hours free of charge (and counting). But of all the places I've worked as an intern ASOS.com is by far my favourite. The standard that the fashion team work at is always of complete excellence and not mention they are all so down to earth. Quick to let you know when your doing a good job and "please" and "thank you" is not a foreign language to them. While working as an intern can be at times daunting and quite discouraging, I'm comforted in knowing that at ASOS magazine they genuinely value me as part of the team and not an amateur. I'll be updating you on my progress as we go along but here are a few pics of my time here so far...

Killer heels available on asos.com later this month

Models working it on a shoot

One of the models sporting a gorgeous lace maxi.

Kate Moss at Topshop

Sad to say that Kate Moss has released her final collection at Topshop since helping design for them back in May 2007.  The 70's inspired fall collection was reportedly all Kate. She arrived at the Final Topshop Launch yesterday looking über glam in a custom made latex jumpsuit. Peep the pics of the collection below.

StyleCrush.com loves...Cesare Paciotti for Ohne Titel

These killer heels marched on to the 2011’s Spring/Summer runway and are now available for purchase, from £225. If only my pockets permitted it...

Furry Fashion

Autumn is officially here! and after London Fashion Week I’ve made a mental note of all this season’s hottest trends. One, that I’m kind of on the fence about, is faux fur. Clearly fitted for this season because not only are they effortlessly chic but also perfect for bearing the cold.

Kelly Rowland rocks this very noticeable Gilet with leather boots.

Mary-Kate Olsen embodies elegance with her white fur coat.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in black coat = chic.
